Digital Storytelling
Teaching empathy through digital storytelling & literary arts
I develop and design curriculums to expand perspectives and build empathy by encouraging participants to develop, build and write digital (photo/visual) and narrative based stories. By exploring and sharing stories, participants learn to appreciate different perspectives and develop a deeper level of empathy for others.
Curriculums/Programs are customizable to support the goals of a program, event, etc.
Fokus’d Kreatives: Digital Storytelling Residencies
Through hands-on experience with digital cameras, iPads, and lighting equipment, students will grasp the fundamentals of photography while incorporating literary elements to weave narratives inspired by their photos. The world is a blank canvas and the pen is our paintbrush.
We get to choose how we will use our words in order to create a voice. Our voice becomes acrylic. With this Acrylic we have the potential to ignite thought within others.
