Poetically Speaking is a mini poetic visual series created and directed by Aitina Fareed-Cooke / "A.I. The Anomaly" that celebrates Buffalo’s thriving literary scene. Premiering during National Poetry Month, the series spotlights the city’s established and emerging voices through cinematic portraits, engaging bios, and inspiring samples of their work.

Each feature invites audiences to experience Buffalo’s poetic spirit whether online and in person through storytelling that bridges art, culture, and community. More than a celebration, Poetically Speaking is an ongoing platform amplifying the power of Buffalo’s past and present voices while inspiring the next generation of writers and creatives.
