The "Climate Connections for Youth" project is a partnership with the Omega Mentoring Program, the Erie County Department of Environment & Planning, Reinstein Woods Nature Preserve, Just Buffalo Literary Center, and Get Fokus'd Productions with generous support from the Community Foundation for Greater Buffalo.

This year, students worked with Buffalo's current Poet Laureate, Aitina Fareed-Cooke through her Tales from the Porch: Expanding Perspectives program. They were guided through the writing process in order to create a collaborative visual poem.
